... You can only imagine being so lost, so helpless, yet have enough courage.. to be the ideal.
"Oliver, Oliver! Where are you?" He shouted helplessly, into the null and void of the bitter emptiness of the plains. Mika and Oliver had been traveling distant lands, coming across Savannahs and other areas, yet came across nothing that seemed to attract them. The current state of the world is worn down, tattered, and destroyed.. they can only hope for the spirit and hope for something to lead them to some place where they can renew the planet, to fix whatever went wrong in the environment. Mika helplessly continued through the empty landscape, his scarred legs wore him down, until the image of his friend came into sight. The two were like brothers, and with that they looked out for each other.
"What the hell are you doing wandering off without me? You want me to get lost?" He'd shouted, a furious look was present on his face.
"Nah, you'll be fine." Oliver responded, a cheeky grin on his face as he turned around and began to ran. He didn't know where, no, but he just run. They were lost, there was nothing to look for aside from land, more land, and eventually if they had enough of the land they'd stumble across the ocean, the distant and empty seas of the blue, cold place.
"Fucking get your ass back here!" Mika grumbled, storming after Oliver. Catching up to Oliver finally, Mika took a few deep breathes as Oliver had already seemed to pull himself to a sudden stop. Haulting himself right behind Oliver, Mika's brows raised, wondering what was holding him up.
"Mika, look." Oliver whispered faintly, glancing over the edge of the cliff to point onwards. "What, what is it?" Mika questioned, stepping forwards to get a better look. The sight was surely something, it seemed to be a type of paradise. A type of beautiful place, yet what kept them from going over to that specific place was a large river separating the duo from what seemed to be their next destination to arrive at. Mika led the way down the cliff to get a better placing near the river. How would they get across, how would they reach the hope they needed? These questions rummaged through his mind as he rapidly circled around in place, a worried look on his face as he rounded about in place. Taking deep breathes, Mika seemed to collect himself, and with that came the sight of a couple of wolves approaching from the other side of the river.
"WHO GOES THERE!" a timid and deep set of vocals had shouted at them.
Mika turned towards Oliver. "Looks like we got company.."
"We're just finding a way to get across the river, we're starving and there seems to be a proper produce of food over there." Oliver responded nonchalantly, keeping his face blank as he didn't want to show any signs of giving up, even if they were already helpless.
"This land belongs to us, not the likes of the roamers." The voice responded sternly.
"The roamers are all dying out and you have enough courage to say that? 'Likes of you' my ass!" Oliver stated, smirking.
"Who are you anyways, if you're not roamers as well?" Mika questioned with simple blunt curiosity.
"Oh? Haven't you heard who we are? Word doesn't get around in roamer territory does it." The voice boomed and followed up with a burst of laughter before calming down. Two canines had stepped up besides the large burly canine from across the river, and they seemed to look exactly alike, yet they also spoke simultaneously.
"We... are the Ideal Wolves."
HUGE WIP.
